Casatejada

Estate information

Casatejada is a 253-hectare estate with 454,092 Lecciana variety trees. It has drip irrigation across its entire area, supplied via a direct intake from the Guadiana River, under the Tagus River Basin Authority. The estate also has three water storage and regulation reservoirs for irrigation, each with a capacity of 9,950 m³.

For its operation, the estate has its own staff and machinery.

This region is ideal for olive growing due to its continental Mediterranean climate, with cold winters and hot, dry summers. The variety of soils, from clay to sandy, is well suited to olive cultivation, and the surrounding mountainous terrain helps create microclimates that are ideal for the development of different olive varieties.
