Arráez

Estate information

Arráez, the southernmost estate in Europe, comprises 386 hectares and a total of 638,078 trees.

Arráez combines two olive varieties distributed across two nearby estates: Altos de Arráez, with 364 hectares of irrigated land, which houses 608,000 olive trees of the Arbequina variety, and Hoja de la Culebra, with 22 hectares, which has 30,078 trees of the Sikitita 2 variety, dry-farmed.

Our main estate has drip irrigation, supplied through the Eugenio Olid Irrigation Community, part of the Barbate River Basin Hydrographic Confederation. It also features a 267 kW photovoltaic installation, connected to the grid, designed to power the irrigation electrical systems, as well as its own personnel and machinery for operation.

The subtropical Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and warm summers, and average annual rainfall of approximately 750 mm, make the Arráez estate an ideal location for the development of Arbequina and Sikitita 2 olive varieties.
