San Antonio
Estate information
The San Antonio estate, covering 112 hectares and 202,000 Coriana variety trees, has a drip irrigation system that optimizes water use and improves crop productivity. Water is supplied through the Río Algodón Irrigation Community, which belongs to the Tagus River Basin Authority.
The estate has a 162 kW off-grid photovoltaic installation to supply the irrigation electrical system, a storage and regulation reservoir with a capacity of 9,460 m³, as well as its own staff and machinery.
The area’s continental Mediterranean climate, characterized by cold winters and hot, dry summers, is ideal for olive growing. The estate’s soils, with a varied composition ranging from clay to sandy, support the optimal development of the Coriana variety.
