Sultana
General characteristics
Sultana is a new-generation olive variety resulting from the cross between Arbosana as the female parent and Sikitita as the male parent, combining the best agronomic and sensory qualities of both varieties.
Specifically designed for hedgerow and high-density plantations, it stands out for its reduced vigor, extraordinary early bearing, and high productivity from the first years of cultivation. It produces an extra virgin olive oil with great aromatic complexity, high oleic acid content, and excellent oxidative stability, making it one of the most promising varieties for modern olive growing.
